How Privacy Vanishes Online...

Someone pointed me to a link on Yahoo about the personal privacy of people diminishing online through social networking sites such as Facebook and Myspace.  The article went in depth as to how someone can get information about social security numbers, but I find that the information can be physically dangerous as well, leading to strangers knowing how many kids a woman has, if there's a man or a dog in the house, Etc.  The New York Times article by Steve Lohr is here:  How Privacy Vanishes Online.   Also read about Blog Memes and Identity Loss, and be sure to pass the information to kids, teens, and anyone you know who loves those quirky surveys.
